Editorial policy

Who writes our content, how we check it, and how to tell us about a mistake.

This policy covers the blog, the tax strategy guides, the compare guides, the calculators, and the client results on legacyinvestingshow.com.

Who writes it

Preston Seo, the founder of Legacy Investing Show, sets what we teach and is the named author on most pages. Our team writes and edits pages with him. Some drafts start with AI writing tools. Every page, however it starts, follows the rules on this page.

Who reviews it

Preston reviews the teaching on the site. We do not have a CPA or attorney who reviews every page today. If a licensed reviewer checks a page in the future, we will name them on that page.

How we check numbers

  • Tax limits, rates, and dates come from the IRS, the tax code, or another official source, and we link to it.
  • When a number changes each year, we say which tax year it is for.
  • Calculators show their assumptions on the page, so you can see how the answer was worked out.
  • We do not round a number up to make it look better, and we keep ranges as ranges.

How we check client results

  • Every client figure belongs to a named client. It comes from their recorded interview, a post they wrote, or the wealth plan written for them.
  • We say which one it is. A figure in a wealth plan is a target for the year, not a result the client has reached.
  • We show low results next to high ones, and we link to the one-star reviews on Trustpilot.
  • Results vary. One client’s numbers do not predict yours.

Sources

Our guides end with a list of sources to check before you act. We prefer primary sources: IRS publications and forms, the Internal Revenue Code, and official agency pages. When we use another source, we name it.

Updates

We review the tax pages each year when the IRS publishes new limits, and again when a tax law changes. Pages show when they were published or last updated. Old pages that no longer help a reader are merged into a better page or removed.

Education, not advice

Everything on this site is education. It explains how a strategy or a number works in general. It is not individual tax, legal, or investment advice, because we do not know your full situation. Check any plan with a qualified professional before you act on it.

Prices

We do not put program prices on the website. There are several programs and bundles, with different financing and payment plans, so the price is given on a call. See how enrollment works.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email support@legacyinvestingshow.com with the page link and what is wrong. We check it and fix the page if we got it wrong.
